Description

Up for sale is my 2003 Mercedes-Benz SL55 AMG. A rare feature is the original Mercedes metallic green paint.
Features and options include:
--optional panorama tinted glass roof.--CD changer (6-disc) with additional single CD player in dash.--in-dash color navigation screen.--driver seat "pulse" massage feature--optional Keyless Go (keyless start).--aftermarket iPod adapter.--wind screen (original cost was nearly $900 from dealer).--4 new tires ($770).--new coil-over suspension featuring high-quality Eibach springs and KYB shocks($3250). This suspension replaces the failure-prone and absurdly expensive-to-repair Mercedes hydraulic suspension. The previous owner had, at great cost, repaired the hydraulic suspension when it failed in 2012. Recently, it failed again, soI took the carto an independent mechanic who specializes in these suspension conversions. I like the new suspension, and the next owner will never have to worry about being stranded as a result of suspension collapse.--4-wheel alignment ($150).
This car cost in the range of $125,000 when new.It runs and drives great. The retractable hardtop functions properly. The paint, rims, and interiorare in good shape. As can be expected with a car of this age and mileage, there are a few minor cracks in the front air dam, and some stone chips have been touched up. I am selling the car because I need to free up some garage space.
Note: A few of the photos show the steering wheel turned to the left (the front wheels were also slightly turned to the left when I tool the interior photos, and I didn't notice it until later).I just wanted to clarify that the steering wheel is straight when the front wheels are straight. In other words, the steering wheel is perfectly and properly aligned as it should be.
