1984 Mercedes-Benz 300D Base Sedan 4-Door 3.0L

Bought this car about a year ago for my almost 16yr old daughter. It's the third one I've owned in the past 10 years. Due to Bluetooth. navigation. airbags and a little princess that wanted something newer? I bought her a pre-owned Jetta TDI with it's 42mi per gallon. I did put some time and money into the car since I bought it in January of 2014:New battery installed by AAA. New Michelin P205/70R14 Defender tires. New Master Cylinder and brake pads (front and rear)4 Premium Rockford Fosgate full range speakers (replaced worn OEM speakers). Throttle pivot mountReplaced all engine belts with new OEM belts. Replaced both fuel filtersReplaced inoperable AC unit with new OEM unit and AC drain hose. Blows cold air. Replaced leaky fuel return hoses and steam cleaned the engine. New Glow Plugs and relay. Just replaced air filter and installed new filter mounts. Replaced broken rear view mirror with a used one in very good condition. Vacuum system is in good working conditionPower antenna is in good working condition. Transmission very smooth. Here's what issues it has. None of it critical. dent on driver doorrims need refinishing rear passenger side window works but makes noises when rolling up. car smokes a little when cold. Haven't had any that didn'tcar whistles when cruising at a steady speed. Needs manifold gasket replaced. (quoted $365)normal wear in interior. Only one hole. (driver side backrest)Cruise control is moody. Sometimes it works. sometimes it doesn't Overall its a good car. Very good considering it's 31yrs old. Car is in the city of Orange. California.
