Pricing & AvailabilityThe R-Class has been discontinued by Mercedes-Benz and is no longer produced. making them increasingly harder to come by. Furthermore. finding a low mileage R-class is even harder to come by. especially with their highly coveted turbo diesel engine; and to find one that is very well optioned makes for a real challenge. If you are looking for a nice R-Class on a budget. go ahead and look at the multitudes of R350s on the market; these models have the gasoline V6 engine. You can get into one of these for a decent entry price but expect to pay more in maintenance down the road as these gasoline models don't have the reliability the diesel models are known for. If you are looking for a more reliable R-Class with much more to offer in the way of functionality. spend more up front and get the R320cdi or R350 Bluetec over the R350 gasoline model. Unlike the R350 gasoline models. which tend to price near blue book. the diesel models tend to price well above blue book due to their scarcity and desirability. Vehicle Condition:My R-Class is 8 years old. but is in extremely immaculate condition inside and outside. This vehicle has been meticulously maintained by my local MB dealership and all services have been performed on time. Mechanically. the vehicle is solid; the vehicle drives extremely well and has been very reliable with only minor issues. Currently the vehicle does not exhibit any leaks. vibrations. or noises. The interior is in great shape and looks pristine; there are no cracks in the dash or rips in the seats. The paint is in excellent shape with no sun damage or clear coat failure. but only a few minor door dings. All electronics and features work as they should. All around. this vehicle is stunning and it's new owner will not be disappointed!
