All features and electrical system is in perfect working condition. as is the A/C and convertible top. There are fewer and fewer of these surviving in such great condition. This 1992 500SL is a head-turner and attention getter. It is considered to be a future collectable and classic. This was the top of the line Benz at the time. and the original MSRP reflects that. The engine screams power and still runs like a dream. Always well kept and maintained without sparing an expense. The Bumper paint has faded a bit after 22 years but could be corrected easily. The Benz was beautifully hand made and fitted. and they certainly are always parked at the front of the valet lines here in Palm Beach. The Mercedes-Benz R129 SL-Class grand tourers were produced from 1989 through 2002. The R129 replaced the R107 SL-Class in 1989. The R107's rather dated rear diagonal swing axle gave way to a modern multi-link axle.
