1985 Mercedes-Benz 300td wagon

This is a great example of the classic mercedes diesel wagon. I get comments while driving this car all the time. It has been super reliable and easy to maintain. I don't even have to top the oil off between changes and it's the original motor! It runs and shifts great. It's never left me stranded. The guy i bought it from is a friend of mine and he is extremely meticulous about his cars. I'll do my best to give a complete run down of the car. but please feel free to ask any questions you have. Exterior:The paint is original and in great shape. Some minor scratches and chips can be found. There are two small rust spots below the rear windows. (pictured) The rear bumper has a rubber guard on it that is begining to peel off. All chrome is in great shape. Tires are two year old pirelli all season tires. Lots of life left. There is one door trim piece that is starting to pop off. This can be fixed with a cheap plastic fastener. Interior:The driver seat is the only one that looks like its ever been sat in. The rest look brand new. Carpet and headliner are in great shape. No sagging or stains. The wood trim does have a couple small cracks. The dash only has one small crack in the corner. Oringinal spare tire is included. Stereo has been replaced with a newer pioneer system. USB. CD and aux capabilities. Manual sunroof works great and does not leak. Mechanical: The engine starts right up first try. If it's below freezing a block heater is definetly reccomended to get it going. Transmission shifts smooth. Less than 2000 miles ago the alternator and all fluids and filters were replaced. The ac and heat work great. The compressor was replaced a couple years ago with a very robust one. All lights. blinkers. horn and wipers work great. The RPM guage has not worked since i owned the car. The power steering gear box works fine but does have a bit of play or slop.
