1972 Mercedes 350sl

For Sale 1972 Mercedes 350Sl /450SlVery desirable early model R107 sl350 with short bumpers . small mirrors and free of all restrictive federal emissions equipment. Car has rebuilt Cylinder Heads with new Cam shafts Timing chain and Tensioners . Engine is fully serviced and runs exceptionally well. Transmission serviced and shifts flawlessly. New Battery. Tires . Center exhaust resonator . Bilstein shocks. Belts and hoses . Headlamps . Working Becker Europa radio with new speakers . All electrical system working . window regulators serviced . Nice Interior in overall good condition with no missing parts. Convertible top and mechanism are in like new condition. Dash board does have cracks due to uv and will need a plastic shell or repairs or at least a dash cover to look good again. AC Compressor works fine but system will need a recharge or conversion to R134a . Outside of car the paint is in fair condition. I say this because it looks good at a distance but there are numerous flaws and and door dings etc. The most notable area is the hood panel which has pitting however the car still looks good and gets lots of compliments . The Hard top . not pictured . is included. Underneath the car has solid rocker panels rust free frame good jacking points floor pans . wheel wells . trunk incl spare wheel area . Car can be enjoyed as is but should you decide on further or full restoration the car has solid bones nice color combination and in my opinion the R107 is the last model of classic Mercedes Benz convertibles.
