1953 Merc Monterey two-door hardtop for sale. Second owner. car originally sold in Hawaii. Body uncut and unmodified. Three-speed manual trans. 24 bolt. numbers matching flathead still installed. Engine does not run. but is not seized. Ignition points burned up and battery died over the years. and as the plan was to install a 302. I never repaired the flathead. Vehicle has numerous dings and small dents. Also has surface rust on roof and some more serious cancer at the base of the gutters and behind the fender wells. Trunk has significant rust wear spare tire sits. and will need to be cropped out and replaced. Both front door latches seized up and not functioning. Vehicle has been lowered using Jamco Suspension's full front end as well as their disk brake conversion (see package in pic). Do not have original control arms or rear fender skirts. Vinyl is intact. but with significant stains. especially on back seat (see pics). All glass straight without cracks. Four brand new (zero miles) white-walls from the White Wall Candy Store in Orange.
