Just arrived from Tucson, rizona. Rust free, traight California / Arizona car. The car spent its entire life in mostly southern California, nd then southern Arizona.
351 Windsor with an FMX transmission that fires right up and runs strong with no issues. Runs, rives, tops great, o leaks. Can be driven anywhere. Has California emissions.
125,xxx original miles.
Factory A/C that needs a recharge.
Vinyl top is sun faded and cracked.
Tilt wheel, S, DB (front), actory console w floor shift, ourtesy lights, ewer tires, attery, nd radiator, ood brakes.
All seams are clean and solid, o rot.
No patch panels anywhere.
The car was painted many years ago due to the original paint fading, ot damage. Chrome and pot metal in very good condition.
Interior is in very good, riginal condition. One rip in drivers door arm rest and drivers seat.
Dash is clean and not cracked or faded, ully functional instrument panel is nice and clean. Hideaway headlights and sequential turn signals work. Factory radio does not work. Fan shroudmissing. Power steering "chatters" when cold but then is fine. All locks, lights, witches are functional. Headliner in the rear has a couple holes.
This is a very nice, urn key, riginal Cougar that needs nothing to be driven daily. I've described this car as honestly as I can. Front and rear valance panels were replaced many years ago when the original owner had the car towed once. Most wrecker drivers didnt know to use a 4x4 to keep from crushing the valance panels when you pick the car up. The valance panels on there now fit just fine and are painted gold.
