This 2000 Mercury Mountaineer V8 All-Wheel-Drive has 176K miles and has a Clean Carfax Report with No Accidents. (Click the Carfax Logo above to view the free report) I test drove this Mountaineer for about 100 miles on both the backroads and the highway and it performed great. The oil, il filter and fuel filter has been changed just about a month ago as shown on the Carfax Service Report. This vehicle starts up everytime without any issues and has a solid battery. There are no warning lights lit on the dashboard whatsoever either. The transmission shifts perfectly smoothly throughout all gears which I demonstrate during the test drive video above. (PLEASE SEE THE YOUTUBE VIDEO ABOVE FOR A FULL TEST DRIVE AND WALKTHROUGH OF THIS VEHICLE). The alignment on this SUV is also perfectly straight, t does not pull to one side or another and handles really nicely. The suspension feels good as well and there were no loud or odd noises that I experienced during my test drive. The brakes are also effective which I give several examples of as well in the video posted. The brakes make no odd noises or sounds while braking. The interior has a ton of great features: Power Windows, ower Mirrors, ower Locks, ower Sunroof, ual Power Seats (plus Lumbar Support), xt. Temp Gauge/Compass, D Player - Am/Fm Radio, limate Control, /C (seems to be working, oo cold out to test properly/ Heat working), ruise Control, BS, teering Wheel Controls, ear A/C control and much more - All of which is fully operational in the vehicle. I could not get the display on the CD Player or radio to come up, owever the radio/cd player does work and the speakers do work. This is probably a loose wire and a very easy fix if you pop out cd player unit. All of the interior/exterior lights and signals are also fully operational in the vehicle except for the left front fog light which needs a new bulb. All other lights (i.e. High beams / low beams) are working properly. The interior is in great overall condition for the year and mileage of this SUV. The carpets are in good overall condition and have minimal stains - Plus the interior smells great! There is no pet odor or smoke smell in this vehicle whatsoever. The seats are leather and in good overall condition, o rips or tears. The dash area is in great condition and all controls show very minimal wear. The compartments and cupholders are super clean. The rear cupholder does not close properly and does need some attention. The body of the vehicle is really in nice shape. The paint looks fantastic and the clearcoat is fully intact on the paint. There is only a few areas of body damage: There is a rust spot near the lower front passengers side door that is noticeable. I give an in depth look during the video so please watch the video if your interested in bidding on this SUV. There is also a small rust spot near the lower rear passengers side door. There is some rust forming on the rear jam of the liftgate however it is not rusted through completely as shown in the pictures. There is a similar rust spot on the lower rear drivers side door. Also, he passengers side front door handle is broken and can't be opened from the outside however it can be opened from the inside. All locks are fully functional with interior controls and the key fob. There is a scrape on the front bumper as well but overall the body is in considerably good condition. There is also a spare underneath the vehicle as shown and a jack/wrench included. There is a tow hitch hooked up on the rear as well. The engine bay is super clean and all fluids in the vehicle are filled up to proper levels. There are no leaks whatsoever coming from the vehicle.
