Let me try to explain what we have here. This is a 2004 Mercury Marauder with aprox. 118k miles. I put the last 8,000 miles on this car before the fender bender that caused the damage you see here. The damage was from a 10 mph crash. I was stopped at a light, he car in front of me went to go, hen stopped short.. I stopped, o problem. Then he went again, started to go, e stopped short again and I didn't. The damage is to the front bumper assembly, ights, grill, ood latch, ood, assenger side front fender and a few items that I am not qualified to explain. The main point is that the car DRIVES PERFECTLY. Other than the damage to the front area, very major component works as it should. The collision did push in the top metal beam where the radiator attaches about 1" but every it is tight with no damage to the cooling system. I drove the car about 10 miles from the accident scene and did not suffer issues. The body shop that examined it said that there appeared to be no frame damage and every thing was fixable. I intended to fix this ride and keep it but the insurance company had other ideas. It seems that since the car is 11 years old and not made any more, he availability of NEW parts is a challenge. I found everything on line but the front cap is something that will have to be a used part. The insurance company said no and totaled the car. I bought it back as I had too much invested to let them have it. In the time I owned it, purchased new Nitto Motivo tires, ew front struts, ew brakes and competition rotors, ew air suspension bags, ew plugs and Accel coils, extra original wheels, ew window motors, loor mats, eadlights, nd the K&N air intake system. The air conditioning is cold and the car gets a flat 20 mpg on the expressway. The transmission shifts fine and the car is dry with no body leaks anywhere inside. The original paint is starting to fade on the passenger side and there is some crazing on the back area but overall presents very nice. The only item that does not work well is the 6 disc changer in the trunk which I never got around to fixing. In the interest of full disclosure, truly believe that one needs to inspect this car before final purchase. It is located in west Kendall area of Miami Florida. The body shop gave me a quick unofficial figure at 3-4K for repair. That would make this a great value for somebody who knows what they are doing. If you are SERIOUS, lease email with questions or your phone so we can discuss this further. You will get a SALVAGE title that will have to be inspected after repairs to get a regular title but that is how these things work. Payment will be a $500.00 paypal deposit within 24 hrs and the rest in CASH or USPS money orders. NO EXCEPTIONS. To be as fair as possible, f you put the deposit down and upon LOCAL inspection have second thoughts, WILL refund your money less any fee that I am charged. If I have to ship the car, then there is no refund. I am not a dealer and certainly not an expert so I encourage inspection. There is no warranty expressed or implied on this car but I think it is a great buy for the right person.
