1963 Mercury Marauder
This car runs and drives perfectly. Has a 390 with a 2 barrel carb, nd Power Drum Brakes that feel more like Disc Brakes. Has a slight exhaust leak that seems to be coming from the passenger side exhaust manifold. I looked under the car, nd the exhaust, rom the header to the back seems to be brand new, s does the fuel tank. Has 15" American racing Torq Thrust wheels. Also have the original rims with hub caps. Has rust spots in the following areas: Both quarter panels, ust behind the wheels, oth rocker panels, ower part of front fenders where it meets the rockers, nd some on the top side of the driver side fender where it meets the hood.
THIS IS NOT A RUST BUCKET BY ANY MEANS!!!
Interior is complete, eadliner is in great shape. Carpet looks great also. Original radio is in place, s are all the switches and knobs. Cigarette lighter, nd clock are both there, owever not installed. Front bench seat has a tear at the seam by the passenger seat, nd rear seat has the same in the same vicinity. Bot can probably be sewn back as the material isn't dried out.
Engine runs perfect throughout all RPM ranges. Tranny shifts smooth through every gear. I hate to sound cliche, ut this car is a true survivor. Easy restoration project that won't take you an eternity to track down parts because they are all there. Every trim piece is there, nd not in a box! You can drive this car around town the day it gets delivered to your driveway! We have the original Buyers Order/Lease Agreement (yes, t's a lease agreement, nd given the date on it, t appears that this vehicle wasn't titled until 1965), A Certificate of title showing that the vehicle was paid off, hen sold, nd a Florida Title in the name of the second owner, s well as the Owners Manual. As we are a licensed dealer, e will assign the vehicle to the winning bidder, hich will in turn become the third owner of the car. First owner had it from 1965 - 2009.
I am not an expert on these by any means, ut I have been buying and selling cars for many years, nd this is the first one I come across. These are pretty rare cars.
Pre-Purchase inspections are welcome, nd encouraged, owever they must be done prior to your placing a bid, r winning the auction. Car is sold AS-IS without any warranties, xpressed, r implied. We are a licensed dealer in the State of Florida, nd residents must pay sales tax. There is a $195 Dealer Fee, hich will be added to the final sale price. Please note that everyone pays the Dealer Fee, ther Dealers included.
