1972 Mercury Capri 2.6 engine, 4 speed manual trans, excellent cond, *must see*

You are bidding on a 1972 Mercury Capri: This vehicle was gutted inside out for ourrestorationproject. The original 2.6 L motor was rebuilt, the cam, heads, and rockers are modified. The motor while being a v6 has the power and drive of a mini v8. modified weber 2-barrel carburetor and intake manifold. A super charged coil to power up the spark plugs. A custom 3 row radiator installed. The original 4 speed manual transmission was checked, modified, and a racing clutch put in place. The axle was checked and serviced. Front suspension checked and replaced varies parts such as, tie rod ends inner and outer, rubber bushings, suspension is good. Exhaust system: The original exhaust manifolds have been bored out and modified as to header specifications. A dual flow-master muffler system installed for maximum performance. New 16" rims and tires, a spacer was added to keep the tires from rubbing on the wheel well or fenders, the fenders are not flared out. The original gas tank was removed and a 20 gallon fuel cell put in place. An electric fuel pump added with an on and off switch. Brakes: Front brakes have been checked and replaced the following, calipers, pads, and rotor discs. The rear brakes have been checked and we replaced the shoes, 1 cylinder, and turned the drums. Brake booster and master cylinder have been replaced. The interior was gutted, the dash redone, all bosch gauges are fitted on a custom plate. there are 5 gauges in all...and all are working. rpm, oil, battery,fuel, andtemperature. Completely re-upholstered original seats, liners, and door panels. We put racing seats vs the original seats but we will include the original seats which have the same finish pattern that is in the vehicle. The body has its original lines, no scratches, no dings, and no rust. Custom paint: White finish 10 yrs, car is 99% done needs just little here and there.
