This is a fun driver. great candidate for hot rod muscle or restorations as a weekend driver. This Comet Convertible has the full power top option which works great! Car runs good and has newer tires. I do not have full receipts or history. but was told motor was rebuilt in recent years. and a newer receipt with car shows the Ford/Mercury C-4 Automatic transmission as being fully rebuilt. Convertible top has edge wear and paint is vintage with touch ups & wear. Have lots of fun as is. but do plan on restorations for this great investment type vehicle. This car does fire right up. shifts in all gears. drives and runs well. BARN FIND: I was told that this car had sat for years before being discovered and freshened up to drive in 2013. As such. State of CA demands owner pay all past years & decades of non-licensing of vehicle …or get it retitled as prior "non-op" parts vehicle which was done to start driving the car again.
