1947 Mercury Mercury Base 3.9L

1947 Mercury 4 Door Sedan OriginalI have owned and enjoyed this car for nearly 15 years. Car has always been garaged and taken care of. but now it's time to sell it. Getting older and too many other projects. The paint and body shows well for its age. the chrome grille. bumpers and all body moldings are in very good condition. The floor. trunk floor and frame are solid. Front and rear seats as well as the headliner are very good. It is a three speed on the column manual shift. Car has v-8 flat head engine. stock carb. and exhaust. The tires and brakes are stock. What the car needs is a new 6-volt batter (I usually start it with a jump box). Rebuild brakes. master cylinder and wheel cylinders. Needs a good cleaning. waxing and detailing. The car is just a good old solid original that needs a little attention and TLC.
