1966 Mercury Super marauder S-55 428ci Barn Find running driving complete RARE

Hello thanks for looking Up for sale is my 1966 Mercury Super Marauder factory 428 car . I bought this about 2 years ago to restore and add to my collection. but things have changed and now I am selling a few projects off . The Merc starts runs and drives but the ORIGINAL motor does smoke but no noise mostly on the Left side. It had sat for a few years this could be the reason but I would rebuild it anyway to allow for unleaded fuel. I bought this car from the high desert part of southern California. VERY DRY It is very straight the only body work is on the lower front fender . There is no rust thru there is a little surface rust on the trunk. This car has had 1 repaint (very cheep) a long time ago you can see all original paint and pinstripes showing thru. All electrical seem to work all glass is good. Trans pan leaks a bit it has been sitting for a few years. ALL trim is with the car except R/R s55 emblem. trunk center emblem and mercury trunk nameplate. I have the rocker trims they are in the trunk. Interior is complete no missing pieces. headliner has fallen so I removed bad vinyl back seat tops need repair and front seats also need vinyl repair a lot of the sewn seams have split. the steering wheel is pretty good. The console is complete no damage the tilt works the power bucket work. All gauges llok good but I have not driven or run long enough to verify accuracy. The Floor trunk rockers and glass channel have NO rust. All stainless trim is Very nice. This would be a very easy resto without spending much $ . There were not many of these made and not many left. If you want a different muscle car you can put 5 in with 345 HP and over 400lbs of torque. Please ask questions or come inspect. No disappointments. I can help with delivery to one of the LA ports.
