2008 Mini Cooper S John Cooper Works jcw $1000 below book!

This is a rare and very nice Mini with the John Cooper Works package. It is loaded with all the performance goodies - Sport suspension. six-speed transmission. Dynamic Stability Control (the fancy optional one. not standard traction control). and the jcw package that adds significant power. It is an absolute hoot to drive and surprisingly fast. Also has most of the luxury options - "comfort access" key (just keep the key in your pocket to start or lock it). rain-sensing wipers. automatic HID headlamps. bluetooth. panorama sunroof. leather seats. "mood lighting. etc. New Continental ContiSport tires at 64. 00 miles. Needs nothing. Clean carfax and title. I've bought and sold lots of cars and always try to list everything I know about the car - both good and bad. Here's the rundown:MechanicalExcellent shape. Had full 60k mile service 4. 00 miles ago (including new plugs. timing belt. water pump. walnut blasted head and upgraded blow-off valve). Everything performs and feels like new. Handles fantastic and accelerates and stops great. No stories. no excuses. no needs. ExteriorPaint is very good. with no real scratches or scuffs. besides one scratch on the bottom of the driver's door. Not a single door ding. Stripes were replaced by Mini dealer last fall. Minor curb rash on a couple wheels. The only real flaws I've found are one small ding in the chrome trim above the hood and a chip in the windshield (hidden behind rearview mirror from driver's seat) and some black spots on the hood that don't want to come off. The car spent the first 63. 00 miles of its life in Texas and has never seen salt. Beautiful condition. InteriorSeats. carpet. door panels are like new. The floor has Mini fitted rubber mats (also have the stock carpet ones). The finish on the badge on the steering wheel is a little mottled. but that's about all I've found on the interior. Much less wear than you would expect for 67k miles. Mini definitely uses high quality materials. This car is a lot of fun to drive and ready to go. Kelly Blue Book in "very good" condition (which this would fit) and private party (not retail!) value is over $13. 00. NADA trade-in value is $13. 00. So this price is very fair. The "Works" cars are very rare (no comparable cars for sale around here to compare to) and enthusiast-centered. I've had over 30 cars. and this is easily in the top three in the fun-to-drive department. I've lusted after a jcw Mini for years. so when an opportunity came up on this one a couple months ago. I couldn't resist. I was hoping my two teenage boys would fit in it. but it's just too small and their complaints drown out the growly jcw exhaust note. So to ebay it goes and I start the hunt for a car they can fit in that's still fun to drive.
