For sell is an incredible Noble M400 that I’ve had the privilege of owning for over two years. This car is an absolute blast to drive. I couldn’t be happier with the Noble name living up to its billing, ut unfortunately life has decided it is time for me to move on focus on other things much less fun than driving!
The Noble is one of those rare combinations of heart pounding speed, ltimate control, uperbly smooth suspension and impeccable handling. It is street legal and has performance numbers in the league of the Corvette ZR1 and Porsche GT3(0-60 in 3.2 seconds; quarter mile in 11.4 @ 119.8). The car weighs less than 2,500 lbs and generates 425HP and 390 Ft. Lb. torque out of the Rousch twin turbo 3.0L V6 engine and Getrag 6- speed. The Noble ‘floored’ me with incredible acceleration and matching down-force keeps it hugging the asphalt. All that said, y favorite aspect of the car is the insanely responsive steering and smooth suspension which makes getting through the curves so much fun. There are very few vehicles on the street which can outperform the M400.
This Noble was originally assembled by Greg Robb of 1G Racing. It is well known that Gregg assembles the best Nobles in the US. The quality of a Noble is dependent on who did the installation of thepower trainand if you buy a Noble thatis not assembled by Gregg, ou are asking for complications. I have all the build sheets, anuals, nd invoices for the vehicle.
There are several basic upgrades that were performed during the build, ut it is otherwise unaltered. Upgrades include:
- LizardSkin coat to the firewall
- 3M clear paint protector on the front of the vehicle
- SPA fire suppression system in the cabin/engine bay
- AutoWatch 160RLi/T vehicle alarm and immobilizer
- 4-wheel tire pressure monitor system
- Backup camera (integrated into the rearview mirror)
- Impact 5-point safety harness
- Stainless steel heatshields
- Digital intercooler fan controller
- Quick-release Sparco steering wheel
- Solo bleed screws
- Sony CDXM8815X CD radio head-unit with Infinity speakers (includes remote)
The Noble VIN is NUS0133 and the titled VIN number is SW121108PA. The vehicle is registered and insured in North Carolina and stays garaged year round. I have the clean title in hand and the car has never been in an accident. The car has about 6,862 miles on it, ubject to change just a bit, ecause I still just love driving it.
I have had this vehicle maintained not by your standard mechanic, ut by a local shop that specializes in rare/vintage collection restoration and maintenance. It is where I have all of my performance vehicles serviced and I feel that it is the best service that money can buy.
As this car is meant to be driven and not locked away, t does have a few small cosmetic items to be aware of:
- There are a few small scrapes/chips in the paint and the paint protector (see pictures); the paint protector can be easily replaced, ut the paint would need a touch-up if desired
- The front lower lip has a slight crack and scrape from the previous owner about two inches across - this has not impacted performance at all in my time of driving
- There are a few signs of road rash on the rims
I recently replaced the rear tires with Michelin Pilot Sport PS-2’s to match up with the front (which were replaced right before I bought the car originally). Also, he car comes with both the "fat man" carbon fiber seats and the standard carbon fiber seats (which will need to be shipped with the car – unfortunately they do not fit inside!). It also comes with a full foam application for the roll bars and a seat upgrade plate for a 6-point harness.

From Wikipedia
The Noble M400 is a sports car from the British car maker Noble. Manufacturing was outsourced to Hi-Tech Automotive, ased in Port Elizabeth, outh Africa. The M400 was noted by the automotive press for excellent handling and power.
The Noble M400 features a mid- mounted transverse engine design. The power plant began life as a 2,968 cc DOHC Ford Duratec V6 with four valves per cylinder, s used in the Ford Mondeo ST220. With this engine as a base, oble fits high- lift camshafts, evised fuel injection, nd two turbochargers. For durability, oble also added forged pistons, n oil cooler, larger baffled oil sump, nd extra cooling ducts. Its engine has a maximum power of 425 bhp (317 kW) at 6,500 rpm, ith a torquefigure of 390 lb·ft (530 N·m) at 5,000 rpm. This power and a light weight allow the M400 to achieve a power- to- weight ratio of just over 400 bhp/ton, he figure for which it was named, 0–60 mph (97 km/h) of 3.2 seconds and a 1/4- mile time of 11.4 @ 119.8 mph (192.8 km/h).
