PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION
This is a nice driving Mini I purchased for my daughter. Tires and brakes are in good shape, eated seats, ew battery, ftermarket stereo cd player, ower moon roof.
The driver seat does not recline.
The CVT transmission belt failed. I purchased a new belt and rebuild kit as shown in the pictures.Disassembledthe trans installed new belt, lutches and seals. I am not a transmission rebuilder but I am handy.
Now the car drives fine once you are moving. However, 5% of the time more or less when you are stopped and go to accelerate the transmission engages late and jerks (does not creep). Then other times it works fine.
Also, he gear indicator on the dash shows EP rather than the gear it is in.
I am not sure if the problem is electrical, rogramming or if the trans needs to come back out. I have not had it diagnosed by dealer or trans shop.
I purchased a new Nissan sentra for her as a Christmaspresent and no longer need this one.
The car may be viewed by contacting me and is located in Montville NJ.
