2010 Mini Cooper JCW

For sale is my 2010 Mini Cooper JCW. This is a factory JCW not an upgraded S with the JCW "power pack", n important distinction. I am the 2nd owner of this vehicle; I purchased it from Euro Motorcars in Bethesda, t was traded in on a Mercedes Benz. I purchased this car in December 2013 and it has been a great car. This is my second car and I generally only use this Mini for commuting on nice days (I drive my Tacoma on the others).
This car is just fantastic to drive and handles like a dream. I had the timing chain tensioner and timing chain replaced by Mini of Alexandria last year as preventative maintenance, ight before 70,000 miles. The car is equipped with pretty much everything from leather heated seats toBluetooth. The car is a 6-speedmanual and the clutch is in great shape, ID headlights, asher jets, nd run-flat tires.
The factory paint and interior are in excellent condition, here are no nicks, ears, r rips in the interior and the carpet is very clean. The exterior paint is shiny and well cared for. There are a few very small door dings that you can't avoid these days. Tires are Continental run flats and there is approximately another 5,000 miles on them (give or take). Brakes and suspension are in great shape. I will have the vehicle regularly serviced prior to pick-up at Mini of Alexandria.
I am selling this car because I just purchased a Land Cruiser to replace it (polar opposites, know).
The title is in hand and clear. Payment may only be made by bank wire, ash, r a certified check can be used but, ust be verified prior to vehicle pick-up or shipment. I have an excellent source for vehicle shipment and as an example they are currently shipping my Land Cruiser from Texas to Northern Virginia forapproximately$700 fully insured. A deposit of $500 must be made via PayPal within 48 hours and full payment within 7 days.

Just a little information about the factory JCW vs. the JCW "power kit" that can be added to a Cooper S:
In mid-2008, ini brought out a new addition to the JCW family - the Mini John Cooper Works. This is in fact not another power kit, ut a whole new version of the R56Mini Hatch, odel code MF91. This new version comes with major differences from the factory, ompared to the 192bhp (143kW) power kit that can be supplied through the dealer network:

• Maximum power of 155kW (211bhp) at 6000 rpm, nd 260 Nm of torque (280 with overboost. This is achieved by means of a new, prated turbocharger, arger-bore exhaust and a sportier ECU map. 0–100km/h time is down to 6.3 seconds (6.6 in the case of the Clubman). Fuel consumption and emissions are also up, owever, ompared to the 192bhp (143kW) kit which has no change compared to the standard 175bhp (130kW) Cooper S.
• Electroniclimited slip differential(EDLC - Electronic Differential Lock Control). This is infinitely variable between 0% and 50%, s opposed to the permanent 30% of the optional LSD fitted to the R56 MINI Cooper S.
• DTC (Dynamic Traction Control) as fitted as standard on all current BMW models. The John Cooper Works is the first variant of the Mini to come with DTC which, o date, s not available even as an option on other variants. The main difference between DTC and the extant DSC is the ability to "remap" the parameters for the traction and stability control systems, o allow a sportier drive while still employing these systems at the last minute, ithout fully deactivating them.
• Brembo 4 pot caliper JCW brakes, onsisting of: four-piston aluminium fixed front brake calipers finished in red with John Cooper Works logo, ed painted single piston rear calipers, erforated and grooved ventilated front brake discs (316x22mm), ear brake discs (280x10mm)
