The car came with P205/45R17 Performance Run Flat Tires (don't recall the brand). At about 45,000 miles, replaced all 4 tires with Michelin Pilot Sport AS/3 tires of the same size. These tires improved the ride and handling of the car dramatically. However, lease note that the new tires are not run-flats, nd the car does not have a spare tire. This is the situation with many new cars now. I carry a can of flx-a-flat in the glove box in case of a flat, nd this will be included with the car. Run flat tires have very stiff sidewalls and make the car have a much harsher ride. This is a common upgrade on many Mini's if you read the message boards.
