Description

1971 340 Demon, his is a real H code numbers matching motor and transmission, ash VIN, oor sticker and core support all match. This car runs really well, rives great, ery fast with the 3.91- 8 3/4 Sure Grip rear. The car was painted about 10 years ago, river quality. The motor was rebuilt and the mileage 2,513 on the newspeedometer is what is on the motor. I do not know how many miles are on the body or chassis. When I bought the car 3 years ago, he motor was in and the entire engine compartment and motor were all painted black. It was an unfinished project. As a Mopar lover I could not leave that, o I restored everything to as correct as possible. The 340 is .030 over, tock rebuild withhardened valve seats. It has a Mopar dual plane aluminum intake, 50 dual feed Holley carb, ooker headers. I actually bought this for my 16 yr old grandson andrealized it was way too fast for his first car. It has a reverse manual shift valve body with a B&M shifter, ery solid shifts, akes a little getting used to. There were no gauges in therallye dash when I got the car, installed new Autometer parts and wired it, ll gauges and lights on the car function, ven the horn. There are 4 brand new 15 inch tires, nbsp;RWL Cooper Cobra G/T, 75R60/15 rear, 15R70/15 front. These are mounted on aluminum Centerline wheels for that big/little effect. The rear springs are beefed up, nd the side exhaust for old school look. It does have hood pins, nd a rear spoiler. The headliner is original and in good condition, he dash pad has beenrecovered and looks good, riginally it had a bench seat, ow buckets, rivers side has a tear on the bottom cushion, owcovered, ear seat is thin and original, ut complete. All glass is original and not cracked. The car has had some metal replaced before, he trunk spare tire well, oth rear lower qtrs, nd some on the righthand t-bar crossmember, hese are areas that I have noticed. The rockers, oors, enders, ood are ok. There are some paint bubbles low on the right front fender, ne spot on the deck lid, nd in front of the rear wheels. I was told the car came from Colorado. It has power steering, ower 10 inch drum brakes, rans cooler, ront factory sway bar. Grille and front bumper are decent, he rear bumper has faded chrome on upper portion. Unfortunately I will probably lose money on this deal. I bought this car to save it and for my grandson. I am 69 years old and I like the 62-65 Mopars better, nbsp;so I am selling this one to complete one of those. I have tried to be honest, his is a driver but still gets complimentsand lots of attention at the cruise-ins, nbsp;my research showed only 4,932 Dodge 1971 340 Demons with 727 shipped in USA. Clear title, icensed and insured in my name.
