Hi and Thanks for Your Interest!!!This Volkswagen is a very rare Glitter Bug Special Edition and possibly the only surviving example of a Glitter Bug painted in "Royal Glow" with the metallic silver "Zandvoort Streaks" Stripe Package....Anywhere!!! During the time I have owned it, have enjoyed every minute. You cannot take the car anywhere without people applauding it...asking questions, iving you a honk, r a thumbs up or a peace sign. Everybody loves this car!!! The Glitter Bug Special Edition was a collaboration between VW and the 3M Corporation. This Special Edition began with a Deluxe Beetle. 3M would then take the cars, pply their custom paint and graphics using the original VW paint as their base coat. Then the rest of the Special Edition Package was installed including a wood and chrome steering wheel and wood shift knob, hrome pedal covers, eal Empi Steel Sprint Star Wheels made by Lemerz in Germany, ood grain dash trim and wood capped dash and vent window knobs.
I've had a lot of fun over the years bringing this car back to being a solid, oadworthy, aily driver...not perfect, ut easy and fun to drive, eliable and super cool. It has the original 1600 single port that came with the car from Germany. Everything is stock and original so you can set every spec according to manufacturer's recommendations, nd refer to factory manuals when necessary. Here are some of the specifics:

• New Parking Brake Internals...E-brake works like a champ!

• New J Pipes...Heater Box delete...I still have them if you want them
• Engine Steam Cleaned, ut left as it is...no rattle-can spray paint makeover on this one

The Glitter Bug is in great mechanical condition and ready to continue to be enjoyed. It even passed the Nevada Smog test with flying colors the first time through. It has amazing character...with it's dings and dents and scratches and scrapes...it's truly one of a kind, nd a beauty! Volkswagen built millions of Bugs, ut only a handful of special edition cars. Regardless of whether you enjoy it the way it is as I have, r do a really nice restoration one day...it will always be a rare and valuable Volkswagen. Clean Nevada Title in my Name as well as current Nevada Registration in my name. I was fortunate enough to meet Cheech and Chong and Shelby Chong recently and they were all nice enough to autograph the glove box door for me. Their autographs are the perfect compliment for a super cool Bug like this!!! This car is all fun, ll day ...everyday. Runs Great, rives Great ...Starts Great, tops Great. It'll jump right out there on the Interstate and hang right in there with everybody else ...and it makes mundane, round town errand running a pleasure too...sometimes laughable, ith all the love this car gets from admirers...
