Description

Grudgingly. the time has come to sell my 2008 Mini Cooper Clubman. I have loved this vehicle since it was new. It is a 6-speed manual and really does drive like a go-cart. I get around 35-36 MPG and it has 6x more room than you would ever imagine with the rear barn doors. split fold down rear seats and passenger side club door. It is pretty darn clean and runs fantastically. I really don't want to sell it. but I do need the room. This Cooper and I have traveled over 120k wonderful miles together. I will particularly miss the optional wood steering wheel. It also has the panoramic sunroof. Aux input and heated seats. I am also going to leave the hardwired Garmin GPS with up-to-date maps (this model also features speed limits and actual speed). It is ready to drive away. In full disclosure here are the only bad things I can say about this car:- Like just about any vehicle this age. there are a couple small dings and rubs. I can provide photos and details for anyone real serious. - Right now. the brake light is on as it thinks the rear brakes are at 0%. when in fact they are relatively new and the wear sensor or wire must be dislodged. If I happen across or lift or get motivated. I may be able to address this. The system is correctly reporting front brakes at 77% (and those were done 6+ months before the rears)- The interior hood release lever broke and the cable is loose. It needs a new lever. The hood can easily be opened pulling on the cable with a pair of pliers. Of note. Mini Coopers love their oil changes and I have performed these religiously with full synthetic. Serious inquiries only. I am not too anxious to sell and the price is not real negotiable. I am the original owner and the title is clean and in hand.
