3000 GT VR4 Twin Turbo

This is a 1995 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 with ’99 front end and FMIC. It is a twin-turbo V6 with all-wheel drive and all-wheel steering. I bought it in 2004 from its second owner and it then had 135. 00 (mostly highway) miles. In 2005. I started the upgrade process with HKS turbo timer and boost controller. Soon thereafter I did an engine rebuild in anticipation of large performance increases to come. Unfortunately. the mechanic/craftsman I had chosen on the basis of previous stellar work for a friend turned out to have serious problems. As a consequence. I decided to have the rebuild done again. We kept the stock cams but ground out some intake and exhaust manifold rough spots and got 10% increased flow. In 2009 I had Matt Monet of Performance Dynamics in Alamogordo NM do another rebuild. Putting in new connecting rods. new drive shaft. larger injectors and upgrading my turbos to new 19Ts with water/meth injection. Finally. in 2011. I had Four Seasons Racing (FSR) in Montclair CA upgrade the fuel pump and FPR and change to an AEM EMS. add the FMIC (which has provision for additional CO2 cooling. not now installed) and the ’99 front end. I have many thousands invested in parts/tune/labor. which I don’t expect to recover. Interior is an 8 out of 10. Body/Paint is a 6-7 out of 10. There is minor oxidation from heat on the hood. and a minor scratch on back bumper and the rest is normal wear and tear for its age. A/C is retained and works well. Infinity radio currently not working. As you can see. my focus has been almost exclusively on performance over appearance. This is a very quick car. Fully street legal 450 AWHP at FSR dyno.
