Up for sale is my 1965 Bright Red 1965 Mustang coupe restored and modified for cruising. This car has been through a two plus year restoration with over 25k in parts and labor alone. The car has had pretty much every piece of sheet metal and trim replaced and painted with two stage super Bright Red paint that shows awesome and will hold it's own in a local show or car meet up. The body shop bill alone was 8k. The suspension has been gone through and all worn out parts where replaced and updated. The steering has been updated to a close ratio Borgeson power box and pump. The brake system has been upgraded to a SSBC froint disc brake conversion with Kelsey Hayes calipers and the rear drums have been completely rebuilt with new parts. The engine was gone through by previous owner and updated with a aluminum Edelbrock 4 barrel intake and carburetor. The ignition has been changed to an HEI style electronic distributor and MSD brand wires. The coolant system has been updated to an aluminum radiator and shroud with an electric fan and a Edelbrock high flow water pump. The engine bay has been completely detailed with just the right touches of chrome. The complete electrical system has been gone through, verything works and it's charged by a chrome 100 amp alternator. The exhaust sounds great and features long tube headers attached to a Shelby style exhaust kit. The C4 automatic trans has been resealed and shift smooth with no leaks. The interior has been completely restored and updated with Pro Car front seats with matching rear seat covers. The factory seat belts have been replaced with custom shoulder belts for safety. The dash has and gauges have been restored and every switch and gauge works accordingly. Every interior piece of trim and panel has been replaced as well. The car has a brand new style under dash AC unit that has just been charged and blows cold for those summer cruises. To help in the TX heat the windows have been tinted as well. The car rides on Magnum 500 wheels with BFG white lettered class tires.
