Hello Fellow Enthusiasts, I have decided to sell my prize and joy. I love this car but need the space in my garage for my CLS63.
I can assist to ship the car anywhere in the world at buyers expense excluding anyembargocountries, if needed. Willing to drive up to 70 miles to deliver to shipping carrier. I have the title on hand, free and clear of any leans.
The Car is being offered locally as well for $11,900 in Staten Island NY. Im starting the Auction off at $5,000 and will entertain any offers above. If I receive an offer close to my local asking price, I will end the Auction Early. This is a Rare Car and rare color combination, It became a classic in 2014 which gives you the opportunity to register it as Exotic/Historic or Classic.
First the Details. When I purchased the car I took it to a local dealer that had everything inspecte, did a fresh break change and oil change.
The Car runs and drives great with no mechanical issues that I know of.The body in my opinion and as you can see in the pictures in pretty good condition, some scratches here and there but as you can see overall pretty good. The Car has the VR4 Chrome wheels in pretty good condition with minor peeling of the chrome in a few places. The interior is in very good condition with the exception of a tear on the driver seat. You can see that this is a drivers car and most of the rest of the seats have rarely been used. The seat can easily be repaired by any upholstery shop. There is a broken tour/sport button, I purchased the new button from the dealer just have not had the time to get it installed, it will come with the car. I bought a replacementantennaas well, it will come with the car, the original was bent.
Ive had the car for about 4 years as my 3rd car in the family. I purchased it from an oldergentlemeninConnecticutwho also did not use it as his primary either. This car was in an accident back in 1998, It was minor damage but got sold at arepairableauction that issued a repairable title. The owner had clarified the issue with the dmv and the title was issued as clear in 1999. The car had been serviced at the dealership in connecticut through most of it life, Oil changesbreaksetc.. Ireceivedthe title as clear when I registered the car and took my plates off for the winter. When I re-registered again someone at dmv put notes on my current title = rebuilt salvage/CT. I went to the dmv and they explained that its a clear title and they typed the additional info on it because they didnt have all the information at the time of registration. They said that there was no "total loss" reported so when you re register the car you need to clarify that during registration and you will again receive a clear title without any notes. I'm trying to disclose all the information I know on the car and that is why Im mentioning it. Ive really had no issues with the car,
Ive had aa new battery installed. The car has an alarm system with fuel cut off. I have installed an HKS High Performance Blow of Valve, the OEM Blow off valve on VR4's sometimes makes a humming noise. The HKS I had installed fixed the problem and sounds amazing with a precise sound unlike the original. I actually had a 1994 VR4 back 15 years ago so I am very familiar with these cars. It runs better then the one I had back in 2000.There was a NOS System installed by a previous owner, I had the mechanic check all the lines and everything was ok. I have never filled the tank or tried using the system, but I was told its direct injection and if you were to fill up the tank would be operational. I have had new brakes and cross drilledrotorsrecentlyinstalled and replaced the original Clutch with a 2nd Stage brand new Exedy ClutchandChromium lightweight flywheel. (3rd gear was grinding so I figured Ill change the clutch and flywheel, typical time to changearoundthis mileage)
I spent over $3,500 on a full Audio Visual system, Pioneer Touch screen Head Unit with a navigation system,Bluetooth, Back up camera, DVD Player. I had the shop replace the speakers with Alpinespeakersallaround powered by a 1,000 Watt Rockford Fosgate Amplifier that is installed under the passenger seat. I also had an Infinity Bass Link 200 Watt RMS sub woofer installed with additional controls right from the cabin so you can add or reduce the bass based on your preference.
These cars with such low miles are so rare that they will only increase in price as the time passes.
