2002 Mitsubishi Montero Sport ONE OWNER, No Reserve

We love this car and we hope that you will enjoy it! This is our precious, precious Montero that we bought new in 2002. It has grown up with our kids and served us very well, but we got a new car. This Montero Sport should run well for many more years. There is no reserve on the sale. It has been a daily driver and runs very well. Example, it had 195,000 miles in May and we have driven it all over the country this summer (that is how well it runs and how confident we are in in it). No modifications or add ons other than running boards, roof rack, and a $400 tow hitch that were installed at the dealership when we bought it. The tow hitch has been mostly used to hold a bike rack for the last few years. It has alloy wheels, power windows, locks, fuel release. It has the original radio with CD player and good speakers. It has never been smoked in and smells good.
The car has been maintained very well. It really runs nearly like it did when it was new. It has a recent oil change and has no leaks. It has had a lifetime alignment plan with Firestone that has kept it running smoothly. All maintenance has been kept up to date including recent timing belt, belts, hoses, tires, battery, and tires. The a/c works well and has never had any problems. The paint looks good on the sides, but the hood and roof have many imperfections and will need to be re-painted to look good. The rear bumper has a few bad spots where the paint is peeling off. There are a few small dents on the panels of the car, but it must be noted that the rear passenger side of the car has a large dent that was put in it when one of (!) backed into a dumpster in 2003. The interior of the car looks very nice overall and has a few cracked/missing pieces (the sunglasses holder on the ceiling broke a long time ago), but the interior is overall together and looks decent. The drivers seat has a few small tears.
The title is clean and is in hand. Car is available to be inspected prior to close of auction. Car is sold as is, where is. No warranties expressed or implied. Nonrefundable $500 deposit via Paypal is due with 24 hours of close of auction. Balance will be paid in Cash at pickup. Car must be picked up by winning bidder unless you make other arrangements with us before auction end. We are willing to deliver it within a reasonable range for .25 cents a mile.
