Thisis a clean Eclipse GST Spyder. I bought this Car a year ago, it was in nice condition inside and out, but needed some TLC to bring it back to life. For starters it had a rip in the convertible top and had to be replaced... Cost me $1400 but its backed by a 72 month Warranty. The car also needed new tires, power steering belt, battery, a starter, spark plugs, andIalso replaced the steering wheel back toOEMwith Airbag. All that is left to do, is to fix an exhaust valve leak!!! the part cost$18from buschur racingand would be needed to turn the boost up. Since I brought the car from across country it needs to be retuned,Ifind it pointless to do that until theExhaustvalve is replaced.It was my goal do fix come spring and summer but I was lucky enough toget a hold of an 2015LancerEvoXFinal Edition for Christmas so I have pushed the eclipse to the side. I'm now focusing on my evo and my eclipse just sits their waiting to be fixed and retuned.A shop would cost around $1k to remove the head and replace the valve, another $500 for tune and this moster is back up to 600hp. I keep considering fixing but i don't want to drop any more money into the car knowing I'm trying to sell it regardless of its condition. With that being said, heres your chance to own a fun toy, Daily Driver, or Stip monster for only $4,500.The Car doesdrive fine other then it doesn't always catch idle right. Could be the compression and different altitude playin a part cause its tuned without MAS. I think a tune would fix the issue without a doubt.
