1989 Mitsubishi Pajero JDM Import RHD (Turbo Diesel)

Hello,welcome to my ad! I am offering my 1989 Mitsubishi Pajero Turbo Diesel project imported from Japan. Clean Virginia title. Located in Newport, Tennessee. No Reserve price!
Positive:

• 2.5L 4 cylinder turbo diesel
• Smooth automatic transmission with 4WD & auto locking hubs
• Rare high top roof
• New tires
• Fresh oil change & air filter
• Good brakes
• Replaced power steering pump
• Jump seats in the back
• Brush guard
• New battery
• Auxiliary port
• No leaks
• Does not burn oil

Negative:

• Rear half of frame rotted out. Front half looks ok. That being said I have driven her about 1000 miles at speeds up to 65, but would not recommend until repaired. Good floor boards.
• Lots of black smoke and a loss of power when accelerating hard or going uphill. I took it to my mechanic and they preformed an engine pressure test which it passed. I believe it could be one of the following; dirty fuel injectors, dirty fuel filter, or clogged catalytic converter.
• Exhaust leak near muffler
• Rear left side door has some rust that was covered by a sticker in Japan so I don't know how bad it is.
• A/C not working (I think it just needs a charge)
• Right fog light is rusted but still works
• Body has scratches, dents, & dings all-round

This was my baby but I am unable to invest anymore so I have to let her go. She is such a unique project that can really be turned into something great as body and frame parts are compatible with the Montero.
