Description

Before bidding. I kindly ask that you read everything below. This is absolutely a one-of-a-kind Eclipse. I have never seen an Eclipse show car built and designed like this one. I purchased the Eclipse brand new and fully-loaded off the show room floor. Then. we began building the car to compete in car shows across the Midwest. This car was built to be a show car. The car was not a daily driver and driven mostly to car shows only and always stored indoors year-round. I am the only owner of the car and only a few others have even driven the car. The Eclipse won many awards all over the Midwest and I'm very proud of it. I'd like to see this car go to a good home. I've invested a small fortune into it and a ton of time. It's most definitely a "head-turner". The mix of styles lets it fit well at local hot rod cruisin' to lowrider car shows and everything in between. List of Customizations 1. Air Ride Suspension Two McPherson air-struts in the front and two reverse air cylinders in the rear. 10 switches include front/back/side-to-side/individual wheel/pancake/see-saw. Custom built pump/dump manifold. Custom built tubular rack in trunk for dual 5 gallon tanks. Two Firestone air-compressors. Long cord to control box lets you hit switches while sitting in the car or standing outside of the car. Air ride is functional although the front passenger air-strut leaks quickly. Bolt-on replacement fixes this issue. The car will sit (and drive) dog-leg "aka three-wheel" (see photos) The switches will operate with the car on or off but the compressors will not run unless the engine is on. The air ride suspension has one water trap and pressure gauge. 2. Professional "House of Kolor" Custom Designed Paint Job The base coat matches the factory original charcoal grey. On top of the base are dual "House of Kolor" traditional-style and tribal-style flames. The flames are candy apple red and outlined in blue/magenta. These are not vinyl. The flames begin on the hood and front fenders and stretch back to the rear fenders. The flames are also painted into the door jams and gas cap. The candy-apple red has a very very fine gold flake that will shimmer in the bright sun. Very beautiful and I receive so many compliments on it. Everything was hand designed and painted professionally. Painted sideview mirrors. (originally black from factory) 3. Custom Bodylines & Shaved Door Handles To give the car a smooth custom body. we had many areas of the car's body shaved (removed). The windshield washer fluid squirters on the hood were shaved. The door handles and key locks on both doors were shaved. The third brake light was shaved. The rear spoiler was shaved. The rear wiper blade was shaved. This was all done professionally at the same time as the paint job. A door popper (fob) opens the two doors by activating an actuator within the door. The doors do not have locks since the door handles were removed. The 3G Eclipse body lines on the doors were cut out and replaced with a solid smooth piece and finished. I've never seen another Eclipse with done! 4. Window Tint The window tint was applied shortly after the car was purchased brand-new and still looks perfect. ALL of the windows are tinted. including the entire front windshield. 5. Custom 18 inch Rims & Brand-new Low Profile Tires The rims are in good condition but the chrome has some defects when look at closely. One of the rims are damaged badly by a pot-hole several years ago but repaired. A slow leaks remains. The tires are brand-new. Less than 50 miles on them. 6. Aftermarket Chrome Headlight Housing The headlight housing was replaced with halogen-style chrome housings. They are much brighter than factory and have a much more unique appearance. Clear front corner turn signal housing were also added. 7. Aftermarket Muffler An aftermarket muffler was added to deliver a deeper sound from the exhaust. 8. Custom-Built Stereo & Video System There is a single 12inch Sony subwoofer in a custom fiberglass enclosure molded into the trunk space and a JL Audio mono-amplifier mounted inside a custom molded enclosure in the trunk space. There is an amplifier mounted to the back of the rear seats to drive the mids and highs. A touchscreen DVD/Audio player is mounted in the dashboard and connects to two LCD TVs within the sunvisors (they have been disconnected and worked prior to being disconnected). There is also a fine-tune adjustment for the subwoofer. 9. Custom painted interiorThe interior black leather. The entire dashboard and door panels were removed. sanded. primed. and paint (clearcoat) to match the base charcoal grey on the exterior of the car. I've keep the dashboard clean and waxed. This is a really cool feature of the car. 10. OtherI've recently replaced the car battery. There is a quick disconnect for the battery. Like most cars. the battery will drain slowly when sitting for an extended period of time. The disconnect prevents this from occurring. Important Note: The engine receive no customizations and remains the same out of the factory and has been well kept with regular maintenance. The car has sat in my garage for the most of the last few years and I would only drive it on nice days a few times a year although I do not recommend this car for daily driving or believe that it is completely street legal. Drive at your own risk. By bidding. you are aware that the customizations to the vehicle may prevent the car from being street legal or even safe to drive. So much has been done that I expect that I may be leaving something out but I believe that I've covered the biggest details above. I am selling the car because I simply don't have the time for it and it deserves to be seen and not covered in my garage all of the time. Payment: Payment in full is due within 3 days at the end of the auction. As an act of good faith. a $1000 deposit is due immediately via Paypal. The remaining balance is due in cash within 3 days of the close of the auction (unless prior arrangements have been made with me). Shipping: I prefer to sell the car locally for pickup but if the buyer prefers to have the car shipped then the buyer must make those arrangements with a bonded and insured shipping company. I am not liable for damages or any incidents whatsoever once the vehicle has been sold. Please absolutely serious inquiries only. I reserve the right to end the auction early. The car is for sale offline. as well. If you have any questions. please contact me by clicking on "Ask seller a question" on the listing page. Happy Bidding!
