Description

2000 Nissan Maxima SE – Family Owned Since New

Low Starting Price of $1,995 and NO RESERVE.

Up for sale is my son’s 2000 Nissan Maxima SE. This car has been in my family since new. First owned by my brother-in-law, hen sold to my mother-in-law and then given to my son in late 2012. The car has been well maintained and serviced as recommended by the Nissan dealer. Since my son has owned the car, e’ve had a complete front brake replacement performed, ncluding new calipers, otors and pads. We’ve also purchased a full set of new Nexen tires (currently with less than 10,000 miles on them) at a cost of nearly $550 and had a four wheel alignment performed.

The leather interior is in great shape with only minimal signs of wear and absolutely no tears. There are some stains in the carpet from what appears to be cherry and orange drinks that were spilled. Everything works as it’s supposed to and the A/C is ice cold. The car currently has only 100,229 miles on it (that’s less than 7,000 miles per year.) It runs and drives very nicely and is a great cruiser.

As far as the exterior of the car goes, ou can see from the exterior pics that there are some dents on both the right and left sides of the car. The dents on the driver’s side came from a school bus that was turning in a parking lot where the car was parked and the rear bumper of the bus rubbed the side of the car. The dents on the passenger side of the car came from my son forgetting that his grandmother had parked her car behind him in our driveway and he backed into her car. None of the dents were the result of a high-impact collision and do not affect the operability or safety of the car in any way. There’s also some minor rust forming at the right rear wheel arch.

Mechanically, he car runs and drives great. It has a slight rough idle but runs as smooth as silk as soon as you give it gas. The front struts are also nearing the time that they should be replaced.

Kelley Blue Book says a 2000 Maxima SE in “Fair” condition is worth $2,770. This Maxima is definitely in better than Fair condition so, he $1,995 starting bid price is very reasonable.

I would encourage anyone who’s interested in buying the Maxima to come and take a look at it before bidding. Pictures are worth a thousand words but you can’t beat seeing, ouching and hearing a vehicle in person before buying it. If you have questions that either the pictures or my write-up haven’t answered, ’ll be glad to answer them. Also, ote that the Maxima is being sold “as is” and “where is” without any warranty either expressed or implied. Once the vehicle leaves my property, will not accept a return or provide a refund of any kind. I require a $500 deposit within 48 hours of the auction’s end with the balance to be paid in full at time of pick-up or within seven days, hichever is sooner. Good luck bidding.

The car is listed for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early.
