Bought new from Melloy Nissan in Albuquerque, y XTerra Pro 4-X has been entirely dealer-serviced at the recommended intervals, nd comes with a full set of maintenance records. This is a very clean truck that's been modified to work better off-road and while camping/hunting/fishing, ut not too over the top. A 3/10 on the scale of what can be done to an XTerra. My goal was to NOT ruin this truck's ability as a daily driver, nd that's worked out. She's been a beast in Death Valley, n and around Moab, nd all over New Mexico and Colorado.
6 speed manual transmission, Knight's Armor" grey in color. A rare combination which took an extra month for Melloy to source! Factory electronic locking differentials, ront and rear, nd 4x4 high and low range. With the suspension lift, ires and locking diffs, 've never once been stuck in this thing in snow, ud or anywhere else.
The exterior is just about brand-new - there's two little dings on the front fenders (both times, dropped a fly-rod case), tiny (repaired) chip in the windshield and a few rock chips on the leading edge of the hood. There's some small bits of oxidation on the rock sliders and rear bumper, ut as they're both powdercoated steel I guess that's to be expected a bit. Having said that, his truck looks significantly better when it's dirty from being used, o the little bits of oxidation have never bugged me.
Interior is about flawless in the passenger areas, nd has never been smoked in. All the seats have been regularly vacuumed and the passenger plastics regularly maintained. The rear cargo area is scratched up from a bunch of camping trips in the desert, ut I always wanted access to the under-floor cargo area and tie-down channels in the floor, o I never bothered to get a Weathertech mat for the rear. The side storage compartments in the rear can each hold two 1-gallon plastic bottles (or growlers, ome to think of it) and the under-floor area is where I've stoked wheel chocks, i-Lift accessories, umper cables, pare gloves, tire iron, tc.
I pitched the original floormats because once you've got all-weather mats installed, hat's the point in yet more carpeting? That said, he Weathertechs look a little dusty - mainly because I live in the desert but also because they're floormats which get used a ton post-fishing or skiing. They've been a great purchase, nd have kept the truck's original carpet in great shape.
