Well here it i, een sitting and sitting and sitting. This is my 1993 300zx z32 with TT engine swap. Looking to go TT with a 300zx? Cheaper way is to buy one . Take it from me. This has been really just sitting in my garage since 2007, have put 15K miles on the engine since swap. The body shows 229233 now. It was around 215k on the NA engine when swap was done.
I bought this car 2001-2002 range of a show room floor in Northern VA, ave had it all these years and have been tweaking it . The swap was done professionally by Pro Motion Tuning (now closed ) on Rt17 . If you are from around here and was in the ''import'' scene that was James .H business who use to have ties with Aerogear and has this tricked out Cougar and Tiburon back in the day. He now resides with Hennessey Motorsports in TX and by many is not missed or welcome back.
His lead tech installer was a good guy though and he did the swap. I have never tuned it, ever dyno it. Never tracked it. On the all and all I have really babied this car, ad a few hard runs but nothing major. I have shops receipts ip to a little over $8k in work. There is more but do not have the paperwork, otal just for swap and parts minus engine was $12k.
The only reason I do not ask for more than I'am is I think it could use another paint job. Some scratches and dings. It was painted 8 years ago the black that is on their now.
I want to start with the issues ( NONE of which are mechanical) The sound system was installed by another closed company :Tweeter. Used to be in Central Park, hey made a custom Polk Momo audio sound sysytem and 2 10'' subs in a custom box fitted under convertible back. Hits really well and has a great sound for the car. The tweeter component on passenger side has stoped working . I pulled it out to check wires and they are ok so it is tweeter. Head unit is a Alpine touchscreen IVA-0130 multimedia, est of its day. Plays cd,and dvds among other functions. It for some reason will load a cd but then error screen will come up. You then power it off and then on and cd will play? It is annoying but it works. Also the AC does not work, ompressor work so I'm thinking their is a leak in it somewhere.Lining in trunk needs re stapling from messing with new taillights, omes loose.
The biggest issue is the sides of the convertible top on both windows are missing a section of the rubber gaskets, o when it rains it drips water from top of windows while driving. They have these gaskets for sale at z1 motorsports for $32 or something like that Why have I not bought them? Because I do not drive it hardly at al, et alone the rain.
The body has a spot on front left hit by a branch and scraped off some paint (see pics) not too noticeable as the bumper is primer black. The hood is carbon fiber and was painted black and has hair line creases on it that can be seen up close front paint not settling right on surface. This is really all the issues.

Goes without saying this car is very fast. If you have ever talked to anyone who has had a convertible 300zx and swapped a TT they will tell you. I have owned/ driven a lot of exotics. Carrera,Elis, DB9,Murcielago, 430...ect . This car will grab and throw you into your seat.
The only big things not upgraded are ECU,injectors and turbos.
It also comes with stock OEM taillights for you crybaby Z purists and other engine stuff. Also brand new in box rear posi quiet brakes for whenever they are needed . No time soon. Autocraft Timing belt NOT NEEDED just adding it in. A oxygen sensor too This all comes with

I do not NEED to sell so no low balling please. This car other than mentioned issues is a solid runner, just hate seeing it in a garage all the time. If there is another Z fanatic who will take her on I have a clean title in hand.
Always using synthetic oil and premium gas !
Also the inspection is due this month which has NOTHING to do with selling car, will have a fresh inspection on it by end of month or when buyer is ready.
