1957 Chevrolet Gasser Real California Gasser from the '60s

This is a genuine 60's straight front axle Gasser. No longer a race car, his car is street legal and last registered in California. It has mufflers, ights and turn signals. Features a small block with a 6-71 blower with dual Holley carbs. Behind the engine is a Turbo 400 trans hooked up to a Ford 9 in that is held in place with adjustable coil-over springs, ttached to a stout wheelie bar. Full roll cage, ull tilt fiberglass front nose and trunk lid. No history of this vintage race car but verbal history is that it was built in the late '60's and was campaigned at Lions, rwindale and Orange County drag strips in California. It is claimed that it originally ran with a blown small block and later upgraded to a big block with nitrous oxide (it is plumbed for nitrous). Claimed to regularly run in the 9's. Engine runs strong,and the trans was recently freshened, s well as the carbs. This '57 is a ball to drive.
