WellI'msure no expert on Fords, ut Iacquiredthis panel truck from a friend. He had it in a storage shed for the last 10 years or so. It's dirty and just how I received it.He had bigplansto restore it one day, ut all that changed, nd now I own it, nd I am selling it.This is what I call a "Barn Find"Here is what I know and as Honestly as I know it...It was running and drivingwhenparked away intostorageyears ago.It is not currently a runningvehicle.(The fuel tank is now sitting in the back and was going to be cleaned out). The engine spins free. The brakes are even up on it still. It has the typical rust of a 60 year oldvehicle. It is very straight and the door gaps etc. are excellent.I have theoriginalowners manual.I have no doubts that someone more mechanical than myself could have it up and going again in very short order. (if I don't sell it as-is, will get it running and re list it that way).
Thispaneltruck would make a neat "daily driver", r perhaps be a neat Resto, r resto-mod project?
There were 137,581 ford pickups built 1956, ut only 14,023 were panel trucks. they are kind of ugly but cool and kind of rare. This Ford originallycame from a state that does not have titles for Vehicles older that 1975.You will need to check the laws of your stateregarding getting a new title. This truck is "free and clear"(but no title). I can give you a bill of sale only. This truck is over 60 years old and being sold as is.I would much rather you plan for the worst and hope for the best than to bedisappointedin anyway.
Myopeningbid is $2,500 with noreserve.
I havetriedto take good photos so you can see its overall condition.
Now... allthishaving been said... I can't imagine finding a more complete, r more un-molested1956 panel like this for the price. It's sure not perfect, nd somewhat of a project, ut I think that whom ever ends up with it will be very pleased. Just my thoughts.
I only want the buyer to be as excited as I was when it came my way. I am honest and dependable, nd the winning bidder can count on my help for an easy and smooth transaction...Thanks.Terms of sale...
