1985 Nissan 300 ZX 2+2 coupe

This garage kept from new car belonged to a university professor almost the entire 30 years of its age. I purchased it last fall. It hadn't been out of the garage in 4 years. It is a 'blue black' color but from any distance it looks like black with a slight metallic appearance. There is some blue flecks in the paint. There is blue pinstriping on the sides. The interior is blue cloth-like velour. I had it cleaned and it looks great! This is the non turbo version. it has a 5 speed manual transmission. The car runs well and I'd drive it across country without concern. It has a replacement AM-FM that works. but is dated. The A/C works fine. power windows. door locks-all good. This car has the digital guages. The compass seems very erratic. I cannot guarantee the mileage. It is low for sure. but the odometer seems a bit sluggish so the mileage is likely over 75K but I am sure it is under 100K. Here are the maintenance repairs performed since I bought the car:4 new Michelin radials and a full size sparenew direct fit muffler. new hatchback struts--getting weak in the cold weather--a precautionary measureNew Timing belt. water pump. some related hoses easiest to access when doing the timing belt. all new belts. radiator hoses. A basic tuneup and the car runs like a top. This is a very peppy car that still delivers decent mpg--well over 30 mpg on the highway. It has two removable clear roof panels and the factory inner privacy panels. It is a very attractive car that draws attention as it is very rare to see a nice example on the road.
