It was set up to be used at one point as a drag car. The previous owner did all previous work on the car to this point. What I have done is replace the Strange 30 spline rear end spool unit with a Detroit Locker Limited slip with new ring and pinion gears. 3. 42:1 gear ratio. Since it is not in drivable condition yet. I do not know the condition of the transmission but assume it is fine as stated by the previous owner. The drive shaft is a beefed up stronger version than the original. having a larger diameter tube. I also have 95% of the stainless steel and chrome trim parts. The wheels are original 68' 442. SSI wheels. There is a new fuel tank not installed. and the car has a new SSBC front disc brake conversion kit installed. and I have also gone through the engine and freshened it up with a after a inspection and replaced the oil pump. lifters. rocker arms and pushrods. Cloyes true roller timing chain. just for good measure. I have a log book with itemized list of parts and a lot of receipts from myself and previous owner. It has aftermarket front bucket seats and new carpet in the box. it will need a rear seat and the rest of the interior panels and headrest. and front and rear windshield. It has a new painless wiring harness that has been started to be installed. The paint is a Toyota. Speedway Blue Metallic code: 8P1.
