Incredibly this car was driven less than 2. 00 miles per year and it shows in the condition of this vehicle. With the desired diesel option this car has plenty of power and just glides down the road - the interior and seats of this Toronado are in fantastic condition. The reason you buy a car like this is for the comfort in the ride and this car will not disappoint. As can be seen in the photos the white exterior paint still shines as she has always been garaged. the front has pitting from rocks but the rest of the exterior paint is in excellent condition. The tires are in very good condition with approx. 60% tread life remaining. I've retired and moving so I'm scaling my car collection down. hate to let her go but I just don't have the garage space anymore. Lastly don't confuse the reliability of the 1983 diesel with earlier diesels. it is well documented that Oldsmobile 5. 7L diesels in 1981 and prior were known for stretched head bolts and water separator issues. In late 1982 those issues had been corrected but the damage to the Oldsmobile diesel reputation had already been cemented. The Oldsmobile diesel models from late 1982 until the end of the production run in 1985 are reliable motors.
