Description

Selling TRUE Hurst/Olds. all numbers matching and regsitered with the Hurst/Olds Club of America. This car was 1 of 1500 built with t-tops and Lighting Rod Shifters. The original 307 V8 motor was rebuilt at 40 over. line decked and honed. balanced and blueprinted. roller camshaft. roller tip rockers (Compcams). carburetor was rebuilt (by Recarbco). all new smog equipment. belts. hoses. water pump. original style air cleaner with the dual snorkels. and powder/ceramic coating on several pieces. The car was repainted by a previous owner so it is not the original Silver over Black with the red stripes. Everything under the hood is new AC Delco parts (what parts were still available) or NAPA auto parts. The air conditioning is not hooked up only because I did not want to spend the money at the time during the winter but I do have the compressor and brackets. New exhaust system (dual magnaflo's) and pipes. I've invested tons of money into this classic rare car. I have a binder full of the receipts for about 90% of the work I have done or had done. SMOGGED and still registered until mid April. with a clean title in hand. -New tires-New brakes (front and rear) pads. shoes drums. rotors. and hoses (front only)-New weatherstripping for doors. hood. trunk and T-tops-New rear shocks (replaced original air shocks)-New speakers-New inner and outer window sweeps-New trunk carpet-New power window switches-New power door lock switches-New rear gear oil and seal-New tranny fluid. filter and seal-New steering pump and hoses-Dyno Tuned at 241 HP and 314 torque (Factory was 185 hp/248 torque)The car is not perfect. It still needs some minor work. mostly cosmetic but still a solid car. The interior is decent shape. Could use new carpet and needs a dashboard (which I have an exact color matching one from another '84 Calais not installed but will go with the car). The shifters still work. I have a huge album of the documentation pictures through the engine rebuilding process(before and after). Also have pictures of the VIN on the engine block and transmission.
