restored upgraded 442 clone 5 speed AC 455 V8

Dream Car Autohaus is offering for sale this stunning 1970 Oldsmobile 442 W-30 clone! This fantastic clone started life as an F-85 with a rocket 350 V8 and was transformed into this beautiful 442 clone.

This was a frame off restoration with no expense spared. The 455 cu-in (block# 396021F) was completely rebuilt with a W-30 intake manifold, code exhaust manifold, ochester quadra-jet carburetor and W-30 red inner fender wells.

The suspension was removed and replaced with Hotchkins sway bars, ibach springs and adjustable shocks, 0 bolt posi rear with 3:40 gears, wheel disc brakes, ew gas tank and exhaust. Staggered Boss wheels with Nitto tires (18 front 20 rear) give this 442 clone a real aggressive stance.

The interior is correct with bucket seats, ic/toc/tac, enter console mounted manifold vacuum gauge, ilt wheel power steering and brakes, C (blows cold) and an aftermarket classic look am/fm/cd with amp and sub woofer. All of the gauges including the clock and a Garmin Navigation unit is hidden where the ashtray once was and is on direct power.

The car was painted with base coat clear coat PPG, he paint was completed then the red stripes were painted and then the entire car was clear coated. This car runs and drives amazing! I have just had a complete inspection done on the car to insure everything is in working order.
