1965 Oldsmobile Cutlass/442 ConvertibleThis old rare survivor has the 400 V-8 with a turbo 400 automatic. power steering. power disc brakes. tilt steering. power windows. power convertible top. new dual exhaust. rear sway bar. bucket seats. console. factory tach. spoke spinner hubcaps. and redline poly tires. Condition= Needs stripped down for repaint. The paint is very old. power windows are a little slow. needs help on one or two. The bumpers are very nice. as well as the interior. Tires are really good. Motor runs so smoothly as an Oldsmobile should. Transmission shifts perfectly. It drives amazingly good. no rattles or shakes. very comfortable cruiser. New white convertible top last week ($1. 00). New dual exhaust from motor to rear. All lights. blinkers. and gauges work except for the tach which is not hooked up. The heater works good. Very solid car. great floors. no rust outs found. unlike most antique cars. This one you can jump in and drive anywhere without worrying about anything. I have records from previous years and also have the original protection plate in glove box. Car was born in Freemont. California. protecto plate verifies that. I feel sure its a real 442 but California cars can't be verified through the VIN.
