Description

Hi everyone....well...when's the last time you've seen one of these? They're getting pretty scarce!! My brother bought this brand new in Alabama and sold it to me in 2004.Both of us have maintained this great little car, always changing the oil every 3,000 miles. It has a 2.0L engine with a manual 4 speed transmission. Not too many came with standard. The clutch still works great..no grinding or slipping. The brakes and exhaust are good and a new battery was put in about 6 months ago.I have a little blue book of all of the maintenance that I have done over the past 12 years. The biggest issue that this car has are the cosmetics. The paint is faded and the interior is pretty shot, although the dash is perfect..no cracks!!! All of the glass is good.Unfortunately, ou can't put the driver's window down. The clips that hold it into place are broken,so the window will fall into the door if you crank it down. The turn signals all work but the lever is loose. Not sure if it's worn out or just needs to be tightened. The gas gauge, speedometer and odometer all work.Which leads me to the mileage. The odometer has turned over twice!!! It currently reads at 256,718.The radiator is fairly new but the cooling fan does not work.Since I only drive this car on the weekends, the tires are so-so. I only put cheap tires on since I'm not driving it too much(I have two other cars). This car has never once broken down on me anywhere. She's always been a VERY reliable car. But now it's time for some one else to enjoy her and hopefully restore her to her former glory.Oh I almost forgot..the body is in pretty good shape except for the "boo boo" at the lower left front fender(see picture). But that's the only spot. At the moment,I can't think of anything else.If you have any questions or concerns, please e-mail me and I will try to answer them to the best of my ability.I put a fairly low reserve on the car. Thanks for reading my ad. Good Luck and Happy Bidding!!!!
