Description

**The car runs and drives but it will need to be towed, please read***
This is a 1998 Oldsmobile Cutlass with 164xxx miles. The car has been in the family since it first came off the lot. It has always run great and maintained, but recently the maintenance has become to much and it was time for a newer car. Listed below are the problems and repairs I have performed on the car.
THE GOOD-
- Brand new calipers
- Newer tires- good tread, will be able to get through another year no problem.
-New coolant reservoir tank
-New brake pads- Replaced with calipers, less then 5000 miles on them.
- New fuel pressure regulator
-New struts and coil- Replaced within last 5 years.
-New Muffler
-BRAND NEW car battery- only started a handful of times, still have receipt.
- NEW Sony Xploid Stereo- Comes with a CD player, AUX plug in and a USB plug in that you can play music from/charge your device.
-New rear pioneer speakers
THE BAD
-Head gasket leak- The car has had a small head gasket leak since around 2003. A solution to seal the leak was placed at this time. Very small amount of oil does leak into engine coolant, however no coolant leaks into the oil. The oil is completely fine. The car will get hot when idling on hot summer days but is normally fine.
- Steer column rusted from axle- "don't quote me" - The steering column is almost all rusted off of the axle so the car does not turn the greatest. It still drives and turns, but sometimes it will not fully turn left or right. This is the reason the car must be towed as I do not want to be liable nor put anybody in harms way. It is fixable.
-Interior is torn on drivers seat. Back seat has multiple marks, scratches, etc. Front seats have chair covers and you can't notice a thing.
-Rust on exterior- Rust near bottom of drivers side door, rear drivers side wheel, around gas tank filling spot, small spot on hood. Car does has scratches, small dings here and there as well.
-Missing L shaped connection piece from muffler to rest of exhaust system- Cheap easy fix, muffler itself is new.
-Rear drivers side door does not open.
This car would be great for anyone who knows a little bit about cars. The main problem is the rusting of the steering column. I have drove the car for years with all of the other problems listed without any issue.
Owners manual, 1 key, floor mats, seat covers all included. Please feel free to message me with any questions.
Once again, CAR MUST BE TOWED FOR LIABILITY REASON. THIS CAR IS SOLD AS IS. SELLER IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE OR INJURY AFTER FINAL SALE AND PICKUP. FULL PAYMENT DUE IN CASH- NO CHECKS. CAR MUST BE PICKED UP WITHIN 30 DAYS OF SALE OR IT WILL BE SOLD TO NEXT HIGHEST BIDDER.
