1949 Oldsmobile 98 Convertible - Futuramic

Beautiful older restoration that still looks amazing.

Southern car that I purchased about a year ago with the long term goal of making a high-end restomod. I"ve since decided that the car is just too nice to chop up and make into a hot rod. The car was restored sometime in the 90's with little use since and has held up remarkably well. Since I have owned it, I have had the master cylinder and all four wheel cylinders replaced, put in a new fuel tank, and converted the non-functioning hydraulic windows to electric. Before me, I was told it had a recent valve job,transmission and carb rebuild.

No rust anywhere on the car. Just normal wear you would expect for a car painted 20 years ago. Interior, again is in great shape for its age-with some very minor areas of wear. Top is in good shape,chrome is excellent, plastic window a little cloudy and top hydraulics work fine. Car runs and drives as it should and collects tons of appreciation and attention.

The following is not currently working- wipers, clock, radio.

I encourage you to inspect car before bidding as this is a 67 year old used car and does have some flaws. You are bidding to buy not inspect. Please do not bid if you do not have the money. I wasted a month with the last high bidder with one sad story after another. I ended up letting him have his deposit back, but will not do that again.
