1950 Oldsmoble Sedanette Rocket 88

You are bidding on a RARE 1950 Oldsmobile Sedanette Rocket 88. head turner. wonderful cruiser and driver that I purchased on Ebay a few years ago from northern California. It was sold to me as an older restoration. The engine was obviously rebuild at the same time and is runs great. It's in beautiful condition with no visible signs of rust. Paint. body and chrome in great condition. Paint chip near edge of front passenger side fender and hood professional repaired at one point. It's factory chariot red. It has a 304 V-8 engine and Hydra-Matic transmission. Gauges all work except for the factory temperature gauge. Have replacement temperature gauge. Has after market temperature gauge mounted at the bottom of dash board. Factory radio doesn't work but can be easily accessed and repaired. I have replacement rebuilt clock. Heater and controls work. Windshield wipers are vacuum operated and work but could use new vacuum lines to boost vacuum. The passenger side door handle needs new retainer clip. All windows and door locks work. Interior light works and all instrument lights. turn signals as well as turn signal indicator lights and bright indicator work. Electrical system has been updated to 12 volts. Engine runs great and starts right up even after sitting. Steering is tight. Transmission has a slight shift hesitation from 1st to second. I was told from the prior owner and others knowledgeable about the Hydra-Matic transmissions that the acceleration linkage needs adjustment. Comes with maintenance manuals. both reproduction and original. reproduction steering wheel. Reproduction owners manual. Replacement rebuilt steering column. Generator power steering pump combination should you want to convert to power steering. Replacement temperature sending unit included.
