1965 Triumph Spitfire Mk 2 Customized Vintage Racer

Up for auction is a sharp 1965 British Triumph Spitfire Mk2 converted to a mid-60's racer in classic British racing green. The car starts right up. runs and drives although without plates I only took it up and down my driveway. I am not a British enthusiast and got this car from a friend who ran out of space. I don't know much about Brit cars and this one has lots of scratches and old paint issues. I would call it a good 15 footer for sure. It has an older restoration and has a very solid underbody and pans. The engine was rebuilt about 10-15 years ago and has a mild cam in it. New wiring. and electrical fixtures. has an alternator instead of generator. New engine mounts. wheels. good tires and I have receipts for work totaling about $4K so the car has been maintained. I am 6' 2" and don't really fit into it and my big feet hit two pedals at the same time. Comes with the top irons and good top as well. Lights work. brakes work and trans goes through all gears properly. I have not had it out for a fast road run but engine sounds good. No knock. smoke nor pings of any sort. The bonnet is a tad off center but not sure how to re-align so next owner can have fun with that. The horn is there but won't sound. The roll bar has a nice set of three-point harnesses for safety and style. Please ask any questions and I will try to answer them for you. I have cleaned the HS2 carbs as best as I could.
