Description

This is a 1964 TR 4 I picked up last summer to restore as a driver. The car has been in the body shop and has new floors and rocker panels along with rear fender panels. the frame is sound. The car does have fiberglass fenders but the shape and fit are very good. I've bought many new parts. glove box. nbsp; door locks. door felts and window rub strips. weather stripping. nbsp; door side seals. nbsp; emblems for the trunk. nbsp; chrome trim for tops of fenders. nbsp; seal for trunk. two mirrors. nbsp; seal for under the wind shield. nbsp; heater valve. nbsp; emergency brake boot. nbsp; wiper arms. nbsp; door stops. nbsp; dash knobs. nbsp; bumper bolts. nbsp; hood release. nbsp; jacking hole plugs. nbsp; convertible top front edge stiffener. Most of the body work is done. the battery tray area needs attention but not much ( I've included a pic of it) The hood has a small dent. The front lower panel needs a little more time on it. As I mentioned the car was in the shop for new floors (they did a nice job) the trunk is solid with just a few small areas needing repair. The wire wheels are in good shape the splines on both the wheel and spindle are good. There are no holes in the convertible top but the window is colored with age. The bumpers are good for a driver. When I bought the car I drove it around my yard. The clutch was stuck from setting but freed up easily. The engine seems fine with good oil pressure. The brakes work although the rotors are rusted. I bought this to drive but things have changed and I need a new truck more than this. I did have a lot of fun collecting the parts I needed and what work I did on it went well. Once in the shop it took four hours to take the hood. fenders. doors. trunk lid and wheels off. A couple more had the dash off. I've cleaned up the gauges and they're ready to go back in. Rather than starting the bidding low and have a reserve I'm starting the bidding at the minimum I will sell the car for. This way there won't be any guessing . Feel free to email me with questions or for more pics. I've applied for a new Massachusetts title. It will be in in a couple weeks. I do have the receipt for it. The odometer reading is off so it will say 99. 99 Thanks for looking. Any questions feel free to email . Den Delivery may be possible.
