1939 Willys Overland. I've owned this car for 34 years. This is an original rust free (meaning it has never had any rust to repair) California car. It is an all steel. uncut. unmolested 2 door sedan. In 1939 all Willys sedans were 4 doors. If a 2 door was ordered. the factory made a steel skin that covered the rear door openings(see picture). They did not weld the rear doors shut and call it a 2 door sedan. This is a pretty rare car as not a lot of 2-door cars were ordered at the time. The drive train is a 327 V-8. 350 turbo trans. Mustang I. F. S. . rack & pinion steering. tilt and tele. nbsp;front disc brakes. Dana 12 bolt posi rear end. a/c and heat. A couple of years ago I had it painted. 9 coats of red and 9 coats of clear. All new glass and rubber was installed at that time. The car is currently being displayed (and has been for more than two years) for sale at the Dick Clark Celebrity Car Museum in Branson. MO. They have add about $20. 00 to what I want for the car. that being said. they will never sell it. thus this post. If you would like pics of the interior and engine compartment. text me at 417-686-1945 and I will text them to you. Thanks for looking.
