I bought it as one of the first cars in my collection and to use in local parades and driving it back and forth to my work and home during the warm summer months. I felt like it is time for someone new to enjoy this Jeepster as much as my family has and I am offering it for sale! This willys jeepster has a 63 hp single carburated I-4 engine that starts with ease and responds perfectly over the entire power band. The cooling system works perfectly and keeps this jeepster running cool. The 3 speed manual with mechanical overdrive engages with ease and gives this jeepster a nice cruising purrr! all of the gears shift great but I did double clutch on the downshifts when I drove it going from a faster speed to a lower speed. This jeepster really runs and drives great and is a blast to drive! The undercarriage is solid and as the video shows. looks very clean. The pans are solid. they look original and look well cared for. there was some road wear but no rust issues I can see. The body has been nicely maintained. kept indoors in a heated showroom when not driving. and has very good paint. This jeepster makes you want to turn your head to look at it! when we did the video. we had people stopping their cars and gives us the thumbs up and take pictures with the car. I videod and pictured any minor comon for the age flaw I saw (I would say its less than a five footer as you have to be right next to the car to pick up anything you can see) The passenger side panel ahead of the door and behind the fender has been repaired at one time and shows well as pictured and videoed. The chrome looks great in my opinion as pictured. Note the factory optioned spot light and dual outside mirrors. The manual top. boot. and frame of the top are in great shape. They work with ease and it looks sharp. The side curtains look good as well and all fit as far as I can tell the way they should. The interior is very nice. I pictured any flaw I saw but overall this is one very nice interior in my opinion. This car has deluxe upholstry and its in great shape. The factory oversized steering wheel and chrome horn ring set show off against the spartan dash. This car has the 80/20 split seat with a smaller portion folding forward for the rear entry. I gave my older inlaws rides in this for parades and it was very easy to get into the rear seat because of this feature. I had seatbelts installed also so I could give my kids rides in it. This jeepster has the dual sun visors that look good. It also has the defrost/heater unit and a optional factory radio that comes out of the car to take on picknics or trips to the beach. very cool!!! The tires look very nice with white walls and are servicable but they are not new. Everything guages wise works except for the temp guage and gas guage. This jeepster is a rare find and it is a car out of my collection my family will miss having fun with on warm summer days! I do not want to overcall this jeepster or undercall it. let the video pictures and description tell the story. this jeepster comes with a clean and clear title ready to register! the license plates and toppers do not come with the car.
