1942 Packard Clipper. Car has 28. 00 original miles. Last driven in 1945 - still has plate. Engine (straight 8) was rebuilt because of two stuck valves by prior owner. Engine does run and has brand new wiring harness. Wires to engine have been run but to lights and gauges needs completed. Car has minor surface rust. Front driver's side floor has a small 6 x 4" hole because the padding under the original rubber mat held condensation. Car had a small front end collision in 1945. was repaired with NOS parts. Owner could not pay the bill. Person who did the repairs but a lien on car and car was stored indoors from 1945 until his death where it was sold at his estate auction by the person I bought it from. I bought it to rat rod but decided the car is way too nice and way too complete to do it so hopefully selling it to someone who would like to restore this great original car. Upholstery is intact (wool) but is dry and has some rips from sitting so long. See pix. All gauges and dash are present. just taken out to put the wiring harness in. There is also a small hoe at back passenger sill plate above the rocker (shown in pic). Otherwise. car is pretty solid (also shown in pix). The speedometer pic shows the actual mileage of 27. 04. Also. the engine has been rebuilt in 2005which I have all receipts for. Call me for more information or questions at six one four - 305- 3773.
